Been disappointing lately. Though I still can't believe we've reached nearly an average of 50 players on at a time, no one's really been up to anything. All anyone does is just sit around by the church in Aeven as usual. You wanted the game back so much, why do you do nothing in it now that you have it? I guess it's because everyone's rich and no one has any motivation to get anything? Who knows, but either way, having lots and LOTS of new players coming in would be a HUGE help on the economy and getting the game to get going again, as well as updates and new items. However, that brings me to my next point. I haven't seen Sausage online at all in a few weeks, i've been trying to contact him but he hasn't been reaching me. I have no clue what's going on. Oh well, we'll just watch it unfold.

So apparently, for all this time since last November, when I uploaded the zipped folder of Endless Online, I had my friends and ignore lists both saved in it. I completely forgot that the text documents were in there. I'm just surprised nobody told me about it until tonight. My face is red.
So, I went ahead and fixed it. The files are now blank. -Cruside This is relatively old news, but it's true; the game has an actual, functioning economy. Dragons Wings and Dragon Claws are consistently 25k each, people are buying and selling Ice Cubes, going out to craft items and sell them, etc. It's pretty awesome, especially considering that just weeks ago we were all "I have no idea what the price is of anything". We just created a working economy organically without even knowing it, and we're back on the road. The road to who knows where. Let's hope it's somewhere good.
The way to improve it even more, like I said earlier, is that we need a low, middle and high class. Currently I'd say it's more like mostly middle-high to high class players, the ones who don't have much motivation to go out and get anything because they have it all (though that's beginning to change, since items are also changing). If we get a low class (the newbs, which is starting to happen), we'll have them all running around trying to get money from (hopefully) monster parts and crafts, buying stuff from the upper classes. Tadah. -Cruside Ever.
Doesn't matter whether it's for a sale or for your friend to try out; once the info is out, it's out, until you change your password. And even then, having people know about your account name alone in the first place is also anything but good. Endless Online has always been known to have insufficient account recovery; that's probably where you should continue to level your expectations at. If your account got "hacked" (by which I mean you gave out your account information, someone logged into it and changed the password without you knowing), there really isn't anything any admin will do for you. Not because they can't, but because they have no way to prove that you didn't make an account sale and simply want to steal it back. If they start handing out account recoveries to the honest people, they also have to do it for the ones with bad intentions. Get it? So what am I trying to say, bottom-line? Keep your account info safe with no one but yourself. That should be common sense by now. -Cruside Just letting you all know, Sausage has doubled the experience given from all monsters. I thought that was a fantastic idea; leveling has always been slow in this game.
Not to say that that's going to be the fix, but it will certainly make things move a little faster and feel just a bit more rewarding. :) -Cru Alright, let's just get this garbage out of the way, since so many people are questioning it. Yeah, about the Dragon hunting and Ancient Wraith Key-dropping video.
I originally unlisted it because I didn't want new players finding it one day and thinking "hey, admins just give out rare items like that!? This is stupid, I quit!" Even if it really was just a one-time event-like thing. It's all been settled and the item is now gone, and it won't happen again (mainly because admins can no longer spawn items like that, lol). Basically, people were giving Sordie a bunch of shit pretty much due to the video I posted, which just so happened to capture the footage of her dropping it. However, this isn't an "exposure" or anything, because she clearly wanted to do it and have everyone go on an Ancient Wraith raid. She wasn't hiding anything. The controversy was created by other players, and because of that, I didn't want to give off the vibe that that was the point of the video. So, another reason I unlisted it. However, I've been getting a lot of people telling me it wasn't a big deal and it was a funny video. Also, unlisting it made it look a bit like a cover-up. Because that's not what it was supposed to be, I just said "fuck it" and I put it back up. Whatever. The end. -Cru ...May I ask "why"?
Why on earth would you want to buy an account for EO? I mean, really, just think REALLY deeply into this question: why would you do it? One go-to answer might be like "I want to be at a higher level". Alright, sure. and now all you'll do for the rest of your life on this game is sit around by the church and complain about how much you hate EO. You're not gonna make anybody appreciate you for your level or even your nice items you have on, no one cares. Now that that's out of the way, what's the point of getting an account that's already at a high level? You can't appreciate it as much if you haven't earned that level, can you? That's why leveling up feels so good; it takes up time, yeah, but it's a nice feeling when you finally get up there. Above all, though, here's what matters the most: it's risky to buy an account. Period. It doesn't really matter how "trusted" the person is, they still have that chance to take all your money and not give out the account and password to you. Why should they? There's no outside rules bounding them to comply to the agreement. You're going completely with their trust. Another problem is that once a sale happens, the person who sold their account could go up to an admin like Sausage and tell them that their account got hacked. Whether someone did actually get hacked or not, how is an admin supposed to help you out if they don't have proof of what really happened? So basically what I'm trying to say is that there's no point to buying accounts. You'll really just hurt yourself in the end. -Cruside Before you freak out, the Wraith Key has been transformed into an Apple (a Shiny Red Apple, thanks, Plasmastar) at this point. It's not still in the game.
But I just wanted to make this post letting you all know what happened, what possibly has happened and would've happened based on this information, and my thoughts on it. Many players expressed frustration at the fact and/or idea of the admins (or co-admins, not Sausage) giving away rare items to people who didn't work for them. I don't know if it was done previously, I have no evidence. However, I witnessed (and even got on camera) an admin dropping a Wraith Key for someone to use. It was in good nature, it was for the entire party at the Dragons to go fight some Ancient Wraiths because they wanted to see it. Sure, I get it, but I mean c'mon, you're really not allowed to be handing out items like that, especially if you're supposed to earn it. The Wraith Key is by far one of the most difficult items to get in the entire game of EO, just giving it away would make some who actually earned it feel dreadful. A lot of players were outraged over this, as was I. I let Sausage know about it, and he currently disabled the spawn and drop item commands for the admins. The Wraith Key the player got turned into an Apple. It's not in their inventory anymore, don't worry. As a message to you co-admins, if you ever read this, please, please don't hand out items to people like that, no matter how hard they beg (in this case the person didn't even beg for it, as far as I remember). It really just breaks the game in many ways, it pisses off players who worked for those items. It's like a manager treating certain employees better than others simply because they're friends. Please, if you want our respect, don't hand out items like that. Thank you. -Cruside Who likes forums? Not me! But either way, I posted up one here if you wanna discuss some stuff. You can log in using pretty much any social media account you have and make a name for yourself. If you want to join in, I suggest going with your EO character name.
